Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone is the American version of the book that started it all. In it, young Harry Potter is visited by a half-giant who gives his cousin a pig's tail and tells Harry "You're a wizard Harry" and then explains his parents' deaths. He confronts Voldemort(Quirell) to prevent him from getting the stone and being virtually immortal. |
 Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Harry and his friends from year one start their second year at Hoggy Wartty Hogwarts. Ginny Weasley(Ron's sister) finds Tom Marvolo Riddle's diary and is posessed and forced to open the CHAMBER OF SECRETS!!! Tom commands the basilisk inside to kill the students but doesn't kill them, just petrifies them In the end, Harry fights a snake abou forty feet long!!! |
 Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Askaban
Alas year three has begun. Harry's godfather Sirius Black (Charged with 13 counts of murder) escapes prison and tries to kill Ron's pet rat, who, incidentally, isn't a rat but actually one of the people Black supposedly killed. You can get the picture from here. |

 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Harry is entered into the Triwizard tournament without his knowing. He iss transported to what seems like a cemetary and witnesses the return of VOLDEMORT. Peter Pettigrew kills Cedric Diggory. And they all lived happily ever after.... except for the fear of being killed. |
 Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Harry is rescued from the Dursleys by some people that he knew and some he didn't know. They tell him they are members of the Order of the Phoenix. He goes to their HQ(Sirius' family's home) and is filled in on the info of what's happening. He goes to school and teaches (illegally) other students Defense Against The Dark Arts. The D.A. eventually take on Voldemort and his Death Eaters. Sirius dies. |
